Moira Cronin of Andover was one of 19 to move on in the high jump yesterday at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, N.C. She cleared 5-6 1/2 to advance. Teammate Jess Salley missed on the opening height.

North Andover's Kirsten Kasper ran an 11:01.90 to finish 12th in the two-mile. She had run an area record 10:48.68 earlier in the spring.

Andover's Melissa Knapp, Kayla Baldwin, Vanessa Singleton and Colleen Shannon took 14th in the sprint relay in 4:10.94. The winners were clocked in 3:55.58.

Andover's Christopher McConnell placed 16th in the 100 in 10.92.

Several athletes competed in the "Emerging Elite'' races which is the second level at the Nike event. In the two-mile North Andover's Alex Kramer placed sixth in 9:32.73.
